Qualifications

• Interest in beekeeping, agriculture, or environmental work.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically demanding work including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Outdoor, field-based role; exposure to bees, weather, and rugged terrain.
• May require early mornings, weekends, or travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced beekeepers with hive inspections and routine maintenance
• Support hive setup, construction, and transportation
• Perform labor-intensive tasks such as lifting, loading, and equipment handling
• Help prepare materials and equipment for daily fieldwork
• Follow instructions to support pest management and hive treatments
• Assist with honey extraction and processing activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the field
