Job summary

Malin is seeking a Battery Service Technician to maintain, service and support batteries and equipment at customer locations in a timely and cost‑effective manner. Travel to customer sites to diagnose, repair and install batteries and chargers, perform preventive maintenance, and document time records and parts usage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Technical School certificate or associate degree desirable.
• Forklift, automotive, diesel or related industrial, aviation or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up and deliver batteries and chargers, install new batteries, chargers and related equipment.
• Travel to customer site, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair battery equipment per guidelines, maintaining positive relations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to schedule and procedures at the customer's facility.
• Complete required paperwork and time records following MobileTech Procedures as directed by management.
• Account for all parts, materials, tools and consumables used as required.
• Drive and work safely in accordance with company and customer safety policies.
