Wellnest Emotional Health & Wellness seeks an Employment Specialist to support 15-25 year-olds at the Avis and Mark Ridley-Thomas Life Learning Center in Los Angeles. This field-based role requires driving and focuses on coaching, resume support, and addressing barriers to employment with a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of work with adolescents in a clinical setting.
• Spanish speaking ability preferred.
• Experience in vocational or employment services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist young people 15-25 at the Life Learning Center to achieve employment goals.
• Provide career guidance, BESI, resume development, and interview coaching.
• Identify barriers to employment and help find competitive job opportunities.
• Meet with clients on-site and in the field; collaborate with treatment teams.
• Build relationships with prospective employers for youth employment opportunities.
• Document progress notes and maintain required forms per DOR contract.
