Job summary

The Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. team is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) to conduct patient fittings for the wearable defibrillator and train local patients as part of the sales support team.

Based in St. Louis, MO, the APS works as a contractor, traveling to hospitals and patients' homes, delivering hands-on fittings while maintaining strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. This role offers paid per fitting compensation and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background (RN, RT, CVIS, Paramedic, CRM).
• Background check completion; Florida and Ohio require level 2 screening.
• Willingness to pay an annual DME fee deducted from completed work orders.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Vaccination/immunization documentation status.
• HIPAA online courses and related training.
• Must be able to credential hospital systems and travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with the Assure wearable device.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule services.
• Accept assignments with daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
• Travel to hospitals and patients’ homes for fittings.
• Measure patients to determine garment size.
• Process paperwork to receive the Assure garment and services.
• Manage inventory of Assure system kits and garments.
• Maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions.
