GreenWaste seeks an Environmental Outreach Coordinator to drive field audits, community engagement, and education across assigned jurisdictions in California. The role includes on-site inspections, delivering presentations, and supporting waste-diversion programs to meet contractual goals.

Up to 60% of time is in the field. A valid CA driver’s license and the ability to travel between facilities and jurisdictions are required. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant environmental outreach experience.
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities and jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform waste audits and field assessments of residential and commercial containers.
• Carry out outreach and education activities under contracts and programs.
• Deliver on-site education and presentations to schools and community groups.
• Coordinate logistics for community outreach events and staffing.
• Develop outreach materials and support website content as needed.
• Maintain records and submit program reporting and metrics.
