Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio seeks a licensed clinician to deliver trauma‑informed counseling to clients of all ages. The role requires maintaining licensure, coordinating treatment plans, and providing both individual and group services.

Flexibility for evenings/weekends and on‑call rotations may be needed. The position offers full‑time hours with a salary range described in the posting, and requires proficiency in trauma‑responsive care and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, counseling, psychology, or other relevant behavioral science with clinical experience.
• LPC, LPC‑A, LMFT, AMFT, LMSW or LCSW licensed to practice in Texas.
• 1 year experience counseling victims of trauma or grief; veterans/dependents experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual/family/couples/crisis counseling and group therapy.
• Participate in service planning, discharge planning, and clinical rounds as part of the client support team.
• Maintain licensure in good standing with Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council and standards.
• Maintain trauma‑responsive, evidenced based practice (TF‑CBT, ACT, EMDR, DBT, etc.).
• Ensure all clinical documentation and required signatures within timeframes.
• Engage in outreach events and present on clinical topics for Grace Counseling and Catholic Charities.
