Job summary

MJ Quinn Integrated Services Limited is seeking an experienced Field Based Traffic Management Supervisor to oversee traffic management operations in the South Wales region. This role focuses on site inspections, operational support, and supervision of TM installations within a dynamic field team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive traffic management experience, necessary certifications (Lane + Streetworks), and a proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience within Traffic Management (required).
• Experience within a similar role.
• Hold a Streetworks Unit 10 qualification.
• Lantra M1, M2, M5 and M6 qualifications.
• Strong planning, organisation and monitoring abilities.
• Strong administration skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Background in Traffic Management.
• Ability to organise workload and prioritise tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Orientation towards quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• No more than 6 points on driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections across live work sites.
• Provide operational support to TM teams, including TM CAD Drawings and TM Works Diary, and liaise with TM Operatives daily.
• Supervision of traffic management installations when required.
• Carry out site audits.
• Ensure traffic management is installed only with relevant consents.
• Inspect proposed layouts for site risks (bus stops, parking bays, pedestrian crossings).
• Investigate non-compliance and safety issues across the work.
• Attend site and progress meetings and other required meetings.
• Carry out other duties appropriate for a TM Supervisor role.
