Job summary

ForTecMedical is seeking a Clinical Technology Specialist to ensure the safe use of advanced surgical technologies and to deliver comprehensive training. You will support surgeons and staff before and during procedures, performing checklists, sterilization, calibrations, and documentation.

Travel and occasional overnight assignments are part of the role. The ideal candidate has a flexible schedule, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset, with a background in medical equipment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with no major violations.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate medical equipment.
• Willing to travel overnight as needed.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surgical technologies to guide equipment use for surgeons and staff.
• Perform preoperative checklists, sterilization, calibrations, and documentation.
• Load and transport surgical technologies to facilities; driving may be required with overnight travel.
• Practice safe vehicle operation, safety procedures, and laser safety techniques.
• Meet customer needs and foster strong professional relationships with ForTec team and healthcare partners.
