Job summary

Weber State University seeks an Student Teaching Supervisor-Adjunct to oversee the penultimate clinical teaching experiences for candidate teachers. The role involves observing, evaluating, and guiding student teachers to support Utah licensure.

The preferred candidate holds a Master’s in Education with 5+ years of K-12 teaching and a Utah teaching license within the last ten years. Travel to various school locations and availability during typical school hours are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education K-12 elementary, secondary, or SPED.
• Minimum 5 years teaching experience in elementary, secondary, or Special Education.
• Utah Teaching License within the last 10 years.
• Must be available to observe during regular school hours approximately 7am-4pm as needed.
• Willing to travel to various school locations for observations/evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, observe, and evaluate student teachers during their penultimate clinical teaching experience.
• Provide feedback and guidance to student teachers.
• Collaborate with host schools and university supervisors to support licensure preparation.
