Job summary

Rhythm Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Scientific Affairs Manager (SAM) for Italy, focusing on advancing medical and scientific initiatives for rare MC4R pathway diseases. You will build peer-to-peer relationships with KEEs and stakeholders and support integrated medical strategies.

You will lead local advisory boards, drive scientific education, and ensure compliant medical information materials while collaborating with international teams. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a pharmaceutical, scientific, or medical field (PharmD, PhD, MD).
• 8+ years in a Medical Science Liaison or similar field with field-based scientific exchange.
• Fluent in local market language and English; strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scientific Affairs Manager for Italy within the international Medical Affairs Team.
• Be subject-matter expert for MC4R pathway diseases and indications.
• Lead local advisory boards and KEEs meetings to gather insights and foster scientific exchange.
• Support local strategy with medical and scientific expertise and collaborate with clinical partners.
