Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL) for Italy to advance rare pediatric/adult neurodevelopmental diseases, with a core Rett syndrome focus.

This field-based role partners with clinicians, researchers, and patient advocacy groups to share high-quality scientific information and support evidence generation. You will lead scientific exchange, training, and advisory activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize patient care,

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or medical degree or related field required.
• 5 years of relevant industry experience with 2+ years field-based (Sr) MSL in CNS/neuroscience or rare disease.
• Proven ability to present complex scientific data clearly.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, able to work independently and manage priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Acadia’s primary field-based scientific expert and trusted partner for healthcare professionals and KOLs across Italy.
• Drive launch excellence and lifecycle management by engaging stakeholders and generating actionable insights.
• Build strategic relationships with national and regional experts in rare pediatric neurological diseases.
• Lead scientific exchange for Acadia’s products and pipeline assets, delivering compliant medical information.
• Identify and drive medical collaborations including IIS, publications, and speaker programs.
• Plan and execute scientific advisory boards, expert meetings, and educational programs.
• Represent Acadia at national and international congresses, identifying trends and opportunities.
• Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform medical strategy.
