Job summary

PROMPTCARE COMPANIES INC in Westwood, MA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for field-based home care, focusing on therapeutics, diagnostics, ventilation and related equipment. This non-exempt, full-time role includes on-call responsibilities and coordination with the department Manager to provide high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate is an RRT in good standing with licensure in Massachusetts, willing to cross-license in other states, with strong communication and PC documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory school and licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in MA (RRT preferred).
• RRT certification required; CPR-BLS certification required.
• Willingness to cross-license in other states at company expense; valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Set up respiratory equipment and therapies for home-care patients.
• Coordinate with RT Clinical Liaisons and managers for patient discharges and on-going care.
• Plan routes and scheduling to optimize time and reduce travel.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient concerns and actions.
• Ensure SOPs and regulatory compliance; provide white-glove service to patients and families.
• Handle on-call responsibilities and travel expense reporting.
