Job summary

The Child Center of NY is hiring a Fee-for-service Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Specialist to empower children and youth to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities. You will provide hands-on support, skill-building, and documentation of services to promote development and independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience in children’s mental health, addiction, or foster care.
• Flexibility to conduct home visits (evenings or weekends).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EHR.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and adolescents in their homes and communities.
• Teach and reinforce social, emotional, and daily living skills.
• Provide support in managing challenges that affect well‑being and independence.
• Help children rebuild essential social skills and emotional regulation.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of services.
