Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to engage with healthcare professionals across a field-based territory in Illinois and surrounding states. The role focuses on non-promotional educational activities and collaboration with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations.

The MSL will support clinical trials, communicate with key academics and community providers, and help identify medical needs while remaining compliant with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must reside within territory for consideration.
• Oncology/pharma industry or clinical/academic experience preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in human pharmacology/pharmacotherapy, preferably oncology.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map and engage relevant healthcare professionals and accounts based on scientific expertise and market knowledge.
• Educate and engage HCPs on disease state, product information, data, trials and market dynamics; collect and communicate insights.
• Develop and execute strategic territory and engagement plans aligned with medical strategy and cross-functional collaborators.
• Act as a therapeutic area and GSK medicines resource for customers and internal colleagues.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Marketing and Sales to deliver aligned medical solutions and participate in cross-enterprise projects.
• Complete required training and administrative responsibilities in a timely, compliant manner.
