Job summary

GSK is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to engage with healthcare providers and academic experts, support trials, and communicate insights that inform medical strategy. Qualifications

• Doctorate in a clinical/medical field (PharmD, PhD, MD), or a master's in advanced science/clinical/healthcare (e.g., MSN, ANP, MS, MPH).
• Oncology, pharmaceutical industry, clinical or academic experience.
• 2+ years' experience in human pharmacology/pharmacotherapy, preferably in an oncology clinical setting.
• Experience engaging in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with medical professionals and decision makers.
• Experience delivering medical-based presentations.
• Ability to manage a multi-state territory with 60-75% travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage healthcare professionals and accounts based on scientific expertise and market knowledge.
• Educate HCPs on disease state, product information, data, trials, needs and market dynamics; collect insights to influence medical strategy.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans, including scientific interactions and supporting clinical trials.
• Act as a therapeutic area resource for customers and colleagues by maintaining knowledge of the landscape.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Marketing and Sales to deliver medical solutions and participate in cross-enterprise projects.
• Comply with policies, complete training and administrative responsibilities in a timely, compliant manner.
