Job summary

The IMA Group is seeking a Nurse Case Manager in California to coordinate medical care for injured workers and advocate for optimal outcomes. This field-based role involves significant travel, primarily within the assigned territory, to co-attend appointments and support communication among care teams.

You will work with physicians, employers, and claims professionals, ensuring timely care and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in ICU/ER/Trauma/Orthopedics/Neurology or other acute care areas.
• Workers' Compensation case management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization and care coordination skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical care for injured workers.
• Facilitate communication among physicians, employers and claims professionals.
• Advocate for injured workers to achieve best outcomes.
• Travel within assigned territory to meet workers and co-attend medical appointments.
• Document and coordinate care with providers, employers and carriers.
