DispatchHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team delivering high-quality acute care in patients' homes across the metro area in California. This field-based role emphasizes autonomy, comprehensive assessments, and coordination of follow-up care for diverse age groups.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of APP experience in emergency, urgent care, internal medicine, or hospital settings, along with current NP/PA licensure, board certification,

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of practice.
• National board certification (current).
• Minimum 2 years of APP experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Family Practice, Cardiac, Pulmonary, or related settings.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Prescriptive authority and active DEA (as required by state).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and willingness to travel within the metro area.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose illnesses.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and manage treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret point-of-care labs.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and recovery.
• Document all patient encounters accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to clinical standards, safety protocols, and performance metrics.
• Drive DispatchHealth-branded vehicle to patient homes and deliver care independently.
