Job summary

Hd-Supply is seeking an Inventory Solutions Specialist to serve as a trusted partner to our customers by managing consignment inventory programs and ensuring the right products are available where and when they are needed in the Jacksonville area.

In this field-based role, you will visit customer locations, oversee inventory levels, conduct audits, replenish stock, analyze trends, and coordinate new solutions in collaboration with sales and operations to drive satisfaction and business growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, customer service, account management, or related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and solve customer inventory challenges.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel throughout an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage consignment inventory programs at customer locations throughout an assigned territory, ensuring appropriate stock levels and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct inventory audits, monitor product usage, and replenish inventory to prevent stockouts and support customer operations.
• Build strong relationships with customer contacts and serve as the primary resource for inventory-related questions, training, and support.
• Analyze inventory trends and identify opportunities to improve inventory performance, reduce excess stock, and enhance service levels.
• Coordinate the implementation of new inventory solutions, including site setup, product stocking, labeling, and inventory transitions.
• Partner with sales, operations, suppliers, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful execution of inventory management programs.
• Travel regularly within the territory to support customer locations, resolve issues, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
