Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an Inventory Solutions Specialist to manage consignment inventory programs and ensure products are available where and when needed for customers in the Jacksonville area.

In this field-based role, you will conduct audits, replenish stock, analyze usage, and implement new inventory solutions across customer sites. You will work with sales and operations teams to drive customer satisfaction and business growth while traveling within the territory to support client locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, customer service, account management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and solve customer inventory challenges.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage consignment inventory programs at customer locations throughout an assigned territory, ensuring appropriate stock levels and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct inventory audits, monitor product usage, and replenish inventory to prevent stockouts and support customer operations.
• Build strong relationships with customer contacts and serve as the primary resource for inventory-related questions, training, and support.
• Analyze inventory trends and identify opportunities to improve inventory performance, reduce excess stock, and enhance service levels.
• Coordinate the implementation of new inventory solutions, including site setup, product stocking, labeling, and inventory transitions.
• Partner with sales, operations, suppliers, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful execution of inventory management programs.
• Travel regularly within the territory to support customer locations, resolve issues, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
