Job summary
Extended Family Home Care Sarasota is seeking a PRN Home Health Nurse Supervisor (RN) licensed in Florida to supervise client care and home health performance in the Bradenton, Sarasota and Venice area.
You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, supervise and train CNAs and HHAs, review medications, and coordinate with physicians to establish plans of care. This field-based role offers a flexible schedule and on-the-road work with competitive hourly pay.
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license
- CPR & First Aid certification
- State of Florida driver’s license & auto insurance
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Responsibilities
- Conduct and document comprehensive nursing assessments.
- Review medications and maintain lists of client medications.
- Develop and implement an individualized plan for the client and family/aide.
- Demonstrate ability to work on an interdisciplinary team.
- Consult with attending physician and team to establish plans of care.
- Oversee and investigate concerns and implement changes and training as needed.
- Perform recurring 60-day supervisory visits with aides to ensure staff competency.
- Assist with education on Emergency Management program for staff.
- Assist with aide orientation and onboarding.
