BayCare HomeCare in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Home Care Supervisor, RN to lead and mentor a clinical team in a busy home health setting. The role oversees patient assignments, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives quality care across the agency.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Florida, with 2 years in nursing or home care and supervisory experience. The position is full-time, daytime hours with on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• RN (Registered Nurse) License required.
• Driver's License (FL) required within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma, Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing.
• 2 years Nursing or 2 years Home Care and 1 year Supervisory Role in related field or 6 months supervisory with 1 year Home Health RN visit experience.

Responsibilities

• Assignment of patients and compliance with all regulatory bodies within area of responsibility.
• Ensure quality assurance program and utilization review is followed in Home Care protocol.
• Oversees and investigates patient and physician concerns, risk management concerns and implements changes and training where necessary.
• Submitting required reports (infection control data, census, staffing, team productivity).
• Ensuring clinical charts are submitted timely and accurately to promote appropriate patient care.
• Performs supervisory visits with team members to ensure clinical competency.
• Assist in reviewing, revising and educating staff on Emergency Management program for office and agency staff.
• Participates with Case Manager on initial Plan of Care review focusing on quality, utilization and patient care goals.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position.
