Qualifications

• Proven OTDR testing experience in fiber networks.
• Experience with fiber splicing and fault finding.
• Familiar with ISP/OSP network infrastructure and docs.
• Ability to work independently in field-based roles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication with clients and on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OTDR testing to identify defects in fiber optic links on large Data Centre Sites.
• Identify fiber count, location, and damage using OTDR equipment.
• Operate OTDR equipment such as EXFO and JDSU.
• Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic links on customer sites.
• Document tests and generate detailed reports.
• Provide on-site training and customer support.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards for fiber testing.
