Job summary

BrandSafway in Raleigh, NC is seeking an EHS Coordinator to support field-based safety across multiple sites. The role emphasizes training, inspections, and documentation, with travel about 50% throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. This is a field-based, non-remote position with a car allowance.

Compensation includes an hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates should have significant EHS experience and OSHA-related certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of environmental health and safety experience preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple job sites, projects, or geographic territories preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; OSHA 500/510 or other relevant safety certifications are a plus.
• Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or a related environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental health and safety training, inspections, kickoff meetings, records, communications, and follow-up activities.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to provide field-based safety support across multiple job sites.
• Maintain accurate program, employee, incident, audit, corrective-action, and compliance documentation.
• Review submitted information for completeness and resolve routine documentation issues.
• Prepare recurring reports and summaries identifying open actions, safety trends, deadlines, and compliance concerns.
• Coordinate with employees, field leaders, branch management, customers, and partners to complete required safety activities.
• Support the implementation of approved EHS procedures, programs, and communications.
• Track corrective actions and elevate overdue or significant safety concerns to the appropriate leader.
• Participate in incident investigations, safety meetings, toolbox talks, and other job-site safety activities.
• Identify recurring administrative or compliance gaps and recommend process improvements.
• Protect confidential employee and business information.
