Job summary

Resource Environmental Solutions LLC is seeking a Project Manager II to join our Onsite Field office near Antioch, IL. You will work with scientists, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver regulatory-driven restoration projects that balance ecological and economic goals.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams across field activities, ensuring quality control and adherence to project plans. The role may require up to 50% travel and relocation to support Lake County, IL projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a construction Quality Control Manager in heavy civil, environmental, ecological restoration, or stream restoration projects.
• Experience leading USACE or NAVFAC construction projects or equivalent federal agencies with ecology-focused deliverables.
• Familiarity with USACE quality control requirements, including the three-phase control process.
• 5+ years in ecological restoration or equivalent fields of work.
• Current USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management certification, or ability to obtain before starting work.
• Experience reviewing and documenting earthwork, drainage, stream restoration, erosion control, seeding, planting, and habitat restoration activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management efforts alongside site and crew managers.
• Report to the field office with current focus in Lake County, IL.
• Support internal and external contracting teams to deliver high-quality ecological solutions, including planning, scheduling, staff, and subcontractors; document work through as-built records, field data, daily QC reports, inspection logs, and progress of payment.
