Job summary

Environmental Resources Management, Inc. (ERM) is hiring Construction Site Managers in Northern and Southern California for field-based oversight of battery storage renewable energy projects.

This is a full-time, limited-term role (12 months) with 40–60 hours per week. Responsibilities include acting as Owner's Representative on-site, coordinating safety, quality, and schedule, and driving on-site construction activities to meet budget and timelines.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience as a Construction Manager.
• Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and solar plus BESS projects.
• BESS commissioning and testing experience preferred.
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Act as Owner's Representative coordinating Owner personnel on-site, including Health, Safety, and Environmental personnel, quality observers, and other service providers.
• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities to meet project schedule and contract requirements.
• Supervise and mentor managers, providing leadership and direction.
• Report weekly schedule and installation status to the Project Manager and maintain KPI tracking.
