Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy at certified treatment centers across the SF Bay area. You will build partnerships with psychiatrists, healthcare providers, and integrated care systems, delivering clinically driven education and ensuring alignment with regulatory and patient access frameworks.

Field-based role requiring travel up to 70% with support from Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech sales.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets.
• Experience with site-of-care, reimbursement, or payer processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and key stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant, and compelling product and disease-state education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and assist providers with patient selection and referral pathways.
• Collaborate with certified treatment sites to support onboarding, readiness, and optimization of delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics including scheduling, patient flow, and operational considerations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and connecting to resources.
• Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory business planning, including call planning and performance tracking.
