Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Capital Projects Engineer II or III to support mining and heavy industrial infrastructure projects. This site-based role requires at least 50% field time, with a strong focus on solving design and cost challenges and ensuring safe, compliant execution.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–8 years of project planning/management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office; MS Project experience preferred.
• Commitment to safety and environmentally friendly work practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project designs, costing, and implementation management.
• Spend ~50% of time in the field managing contractors and reviewing progress.
• Collaborate with HSE, Permitting, Asset Management, and Operations to support project scopes.
• Obtain permits to prevent delays and ensure timely handover to the plant.
• Develop and update project procedures and training materials for commissioning.
