Job summary

Millboard seeks a proactive Business Development Manager to build and own a regional partner network across distributors, contractors, architects and homeowners. You will drive demand, convert it into profitable relationships and travel regularly to win specification opportunities.

This field-based role emphasizes technical demonstrations, face-to-face selling and deep market development within the construction materials sector, supported by marketing and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a technical, trade-facing, specification or business development role within the construction or building materials sector.
• Face-to-face selling and presentations.
• Hands-on capability delivering technical demonstrations.
• Strong coaching, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness and identifying sales opportunities.
• Ability to engage architects, designers and high-end builders confidently.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight

Responsibilities

• Develop and own a network with distributors, contractors, architects and other trade partners.
• Drive sustainable growth by turning demand into profitable, lasting relationships.
• Travel across the territory, including overnight stays, to build Millboard presence.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical resources to support specification sales.
