Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree preferred.
• Experience in bargaining, organizing, and member engagement.
• Knowledge of district budgets, school finance, and related laws.
• Ability to work with diverse members, leaders, staff.
• Strong communication and training development skills.
• Willingness to travel within California and attend events.

Responsibilities

• Lead bargaining and campaign efforts, guiding teams toward objectives.
• Develop high-participation campaigns and contract campaigns.
• Promote site-based organizing for bargaining efforts.
• Provide program support and training to staff, leaders, and members.
• Develop trainings aligned with regional needs and CTA programs.
• Analyze district budgets and school funding information to support campaigns.
• Advise leadership on member engagement and training goals.
• Conduct organizing visits and recruit members as assigned.
• Support bargaining goals with regional and statewide trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.
