Pathways to Housing DC seeks a Certified Addictions Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment team in Washington, D.C. This role requires providing compassionate substance abuse and addiction support while working collaboratively with clients and professionals.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication and patience, with at least a year of experience in social services or supported housing, and is passionate about helping individuals on their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in social services or supported housing.
• Knowledge of harm reduction theory/applications.
• Driver's license and vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to create an Individual Recovery Plan.
• Provide outreach, case management, and advocacy.
• Tailor services to each client in various life areas.
• Maintain written and computerized records and documentation.
• Coordinate referrals to community services.
• Lead groups and workshops.
