Job summary

Keystone Clearwater Solutions in Triadelphia, WV is seeking a Field Automation Technician to support our automated water transfer systems in the field, install and maintain sensors, troubleshoot electronics, and configure devices. You will split time between field work and shop-based repairs, travel regionally with overnight stays, and report to the Manager of Automated Operations.

Qualifications

• Oil & gas or related industrial experience required.
• Experience with electrical wiring, electronics or instrumentation.
• Familiarity with multimeters, computers, and basic networking.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in fast-paced environments.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
• Safety-first mindset with a desire to grow and learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up and rig down automation equipment on site.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on sensors, valves, and controls.
• Use hand tools, diagnostic gear, and software to configure and test systems.
• Respond to field service calls and troubleshoot real-time issues.
• Interact with clients and represent the company professionally onsite.
• Complete daily reporting and safety documentation.
• Travel regionally, often to remote locations, with occasional overnight stays.
• Adhere to all SOPs, safety standards, and training requirements.
