Job summary
Design Solutions and Integration is hiring an Automation Technician to support SCADA field hardware, communications and related software onsite in Midland/Odessa, TX. You will work with vendors and operations staff on installation, calibration and maintenance of automation equipment.
Responsibilities include following DOT/OSHA regulations, safety-focused task execution, and performing PLC troubleshooting with some programming. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.
Qualifications
- Current/valid driver's license.
- 3+ years of relevant automation work experience.
- Must have experience troubleshooting low voltage AC/DC power and electronics.
- Must have experience using a milliamp meter with troubleshooting 4-20 mA loops.
Responsibilities
- Align with applicable DOT and OSHA regulations and safety policies.
- Lead with safety, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform installation, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of automation equipment.
- PLC installation, troubleshooting, and minor programming.
- Build and respond to SAP notifications and process work orders.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
