Job summary

Liberty Lift Solutions, LLC is seeking an Automation Technician to diagnose and service an in-house automated rod pump control system, with field installations and repairs as needed. You will work with PLC, POC and VFD equipment, coordinate with operations, and support safety protocols on site.

The role is field-based and requires handling equipment in variable weather, working long hours outdoors, and collaborating with SCADA/IT and engineering teams to ensure reliable automation performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automation experience in oil and gas industry preferred.
• PLC programming experience in oil and gas field operations preferred.
• Apprentice or Journeyman electrical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated rod pump control systems.
• Isolate and repair problems, assist with field installations and repairs.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with operations daily and manage field paperwork.
