ConocoPhillips in Loving, NM is seeking an Automation Technician to maintain and troubleshoot field automation, instrumentation, and SCADA systems, partnering with operations, engineering, vendors and contractors to improve uptime, safety, and environmental protection.

This hands-on role offers exposure to evolving technologies, a path to grow technical depth, and a collaborative team environment with rotating on-call weekends.

Qualifications

3+ years of automation, instrumentation, controls, SCADA, or related field operations.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting field automation and instrumentation equipment.
Ability to perform the physical demands and work environment requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot automation, instrumentation, SCADA, and related electrical equipment.
Diagnose SCADA, instrumentation, and control system issues and restore safe operation.
Install, inspect, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot field equipment.
Create, update, and close maintenance work orders and ensure accurate documentation.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and peers to improve reliability, safety and cost effectiveness.
