Htprof is seeking a Lead Field Automation Specialist to perform PLC programming and electro‑mechanical service from Johnson Creek, WI. This on‑site/direct‑hire role covers field operations across Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, with a strong emphasis on autonomous work and client interaction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electro‑mechanical maintenance and 2+ years in multi‑platform PLC/HMI programming, plus a clear driving record and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years electro‑mechanical maintenance in industrial settings.
• 2+ years multi‑platform PLC/HMI programming from scratch.
• High‑level electrical & controls expertise and diagnostics.
• Solid fluid power knowledge across hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Open to candidates without a diploma or with an AS in related field.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of Johnson Creek, WI; US citizen or GC.

Responsabilités

• Lead field maintenance, commissioning, and retrofits across WI/IL with company vehicle.
• Design and program control systems on multiple PLC/HMI platforms.
• Perform on‑site electro‑mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Service fluid power and mechanical systems on diverse machinery.
• Integrate automation hardware including safety systems and cobots.
• Provide on‑site technical support and rapid issue resolution for clients.
