Job summary

Inframark is seeking a PLC/HMI Field Applications Specialist to support control system integration, commissioning, and customer service for water and wastewater projects. This hands-on field role involves configuring, programming, testing, and troubleshooting SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, and networking equipment on-site.

You will work with Project Managers to meet contract requirements, perform FAT/SAT, and deliver on-site training while ensuring safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years field service in instrumentation, control systems, or automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements with Project Manager and analyze contract documents.
• Maintain clear communication with Project Managers on task status and milestones.
• Program PLCs and develop HMI applications per contract specifications.
• Conduct FAT/SAT and field commissioning of control panels and networks.
• Provide on-site training and on-call support for customers.
