Job summary

Inframark LLC is seeking a Field Automation Systems (FAS) Engineer to play a crucial role in control system integration, commissioning, and customer support. This hands-on field role involves configuring, programming, testing, and troubleshooting industrial control systems—SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, networking equipment, and instrumentation—primarily in the Water/Wastewater Industry.

On-site work is required to deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Technical degree in engineering or related field.
3+ years field service experience in instrumentation, control systems, or automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review project requirements with the Project Manager and contract documents.
Communicate task status, milestones, and budgetary concerns to the Project Manager.
Provide accurate documentation including timesheets, trip reports, and system updates.
Follow established development standards and procedures for high-quality execution.
Set up system servers, workstations, networks, and peripherals at job sites.
Develop System Control Narratives and PLC/HMI applications per contract specs.
Perform FAT/SAT as required.
Perform control panel commissioning and field wiring/terminations.
Coordinate system startups, integrating PLC, HMI, instrumentation, and networking.
Ensure hardware, network operation, SCADA functionality align with project requirements.
