Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a Delivery Engineer to support the implementation and customer-site delivery of industrial automation systems. You will cover pre-deployment through handover, working with electro-mechanical equipment, machine vision, and networking technologies.

Candidates may enter at a developing or fully independent level, with training and certification as needed. Travel will be 50% to 75%, and the role requires strong technical communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Equivalent certifications or hands-on field experience may be considered.
• Developing-level candidates may be considered without prior field experience with required training.
• Independent-level candidates must show autonomous installation/commissioning experience in customer environments.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Required certifications must be completed and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-deployment preparation, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and handover of systems.
• Install, configure, integrate, test, and commission automation systems including controls and machine vision.
• Interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, network information, and project documentation.
• Assess discrepancies between documentation and on-site conditions; escalate when needed.
• Serve as onsite technical contact and coordinate with remote project teams and customers.
• Maintain field reports, test results, and handover documentation; ensure safety and quality practices.
