GROB Group in Ohio is seeking a field-service oriented controls engineer responsible for start-up, commissioning, and debugging of machine tool equipment. The role includes loading, testing, and troubleshooting PLC programs, editing HMIs, and addressing electrical wiring issues while traveling to installations domestically and some international sites.
Expected tasks include PLC/NC/robot programming, electrical troubleshooting, servo tuning, and machine networking.
Qualifikationen
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics and Automation, or similar program.
- PLC or CNC programming experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Beckhoff knowledge preferred).
- General PC and Networking skills; 2 years’ relevant experience preferred.
Aufgaben
- PLC programming and troubleshooting during start-up, commissioning, and debugging.
- Robot programming and integration (ABB & Fanuc).
- Electrical hardware troubleshooting and wiring repairs as needed.
- Servo drive parameterization and tuning for machine performance.
- Networking of machines to plant network and other machines.
- Assist with customer part runoffs and final acceptance.
