Job summary

Gazer in New York is seeking an Auto Electrician/Automotive Technician to install S5 and P8 smart security systems across multiple vehicle makes and models. You will also train installer partners and support test installations.

Applicants should have 3+ years in auto electrical work, strong CAN/CAN FD/LIN experience, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required for regional travel; fuel costs are covered by Gazer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Auto Electrician or Automotive Technician.
• Hands-on experience with CAN/CAN FD and LIN bus systems is required.
• Experience installing aftermarket security, alarm, or telematics systems.
• Ability to read wiring/connection diagrams and work from them.
• Experience disassembling vehicle interiors for installation work.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional installation of Gazer S5 and P8 systems.
• Work with CAN, CAN FD, and LIN bus systems during integration and diagnostics.
• Read wiring diagrams and connection schematics.
• Disassemble/reassemble vehicle interiors for clean installs.
• Train installer partners and support test installations and quality checks.
