Job summary

Gazer is seeking an Auto Electrician/Engineer in New York to professionally install our S5 and P8 smart security systems across multiple vehicle models. You will work with CAN/CAN FD and LIN bus networks, read wiring diagrams, and ensure high-quality wiring integration.

Travel regionally to install sites and partner training sessions, with hands-on training on our proprietary technology and ongoing support for tests and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Auto Electrician or Automotive Technician.
• Hands-on experience with CAN, CAN FD and LIN bus systems required.
• Experience installing aftermarket security, alarm, or telematics systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service vehicle interiors for installs.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional installation of Gazer S5 and P8 security systems across various vehicle makes and models.
• Work with CAN, CAN FD, and LIN bus systems during integration and diagnostics.

Automotive Technician / Engineer for Smart Security System Installation

The Role

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Auto Electrician to join our team in New York. You'll become a key expert in the professional installation of our advanced smart security systems - S5 and P8 - across various vehicle makes and models, while also training installer partners and supporting test installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional and precise installation of Gazer's S5 and P8 smart security systems
• Work confidently with CAN, CAN FD, and LIN bus systems during integration and diagnostics
• Read and work from wiring diagrams and connection schematics
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle interior trim/panels as needed for clean, professional installs
• Ensure high-quality wiring and integration with existing vehicle electronic systems
• Receive full hands‑on training to master Gazer's proprietary technology
• Train installer partners on correct installation procedures and best practices
• Conduct test installations and provide technical support and quality checks on installed units

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Auto Electrician or Automotive Technician
• Practical understanding of and hands‑on experience with CAN, CAN FD, and LIN bus systems - non‑negotiable
• Experience installing aftermarket security, alarm, or telematics systems
• Comfortable working from wiring/connection diagrams
• Experience disassembling vehicle interiors (panels, trim) for installation work
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic tools
• Ability to learn quickly and work with new AI‑integrated technologies
• High attention to detail and a responsible work ethic
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle required - you'll be traveling across the region for installations and partner training; fuel costs covered by the company
• Basic auto electrical hand tools preferred
