Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd is seeking an Auto Appraiser in Philadelphia, PA to inspect and evaluate vehicles involved in losses. You will determine repair costs, assess repairability or salvability, and prepare estimates using estimatics software.

The role requires 3 years of related appraisal experience and strong automotive knowledge, with travel to inspection sites as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with state-appropriate licensing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; licenses as required by state guidelines.
• Three years of related experience, including at least one year of appraisal experience.
• Strong knowledge of automobiles and ability to use appraisal software; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Appraises and determines costs of repairs to damaged vehicle in the field.
• Evaluates and determines if the vehicle is repairable or salvageable based on estimatics software.
• Travels to inspection locations to appraise vehicles in the field.
• Prepares estimates using estimatics software.
• Works with auto repair facilities to determine supplemental repair processing and estimates.
