Job summary

NFM is seeking a Field Auditor to conduct physical merchandise counts and audit exception reports, addressing errors and discrepancies in receiving. You will perform spot audits on staff tagging, capture photos, and document issues in Traverse Vendor Compliance while collaborating with multiple departments.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • 3 years of warehouse receiving experience required.
  • 3 years of office or administrative experience required.
  • Machine operation experience or certification on a high-lift required within 30 days.
  • Computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Applications required.
  • Ability to create and maintain accuracy reports.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Audit receiving transactions and reports.
  • Use problem-solving tools to identify root causes of errors to reduce errors, improve accuracy, and minimize NAS inventory.
  • Unravel, research, resolve, and tag merchandise without tags in receiving bays.
  • Audit merchandise previously tagged by receiving to resolve tagging errors.
  • Collaborate with Receiving, Machine Operations, Warehouse Supervisors, and Inventory Control Supervisor to reconcile errors.
  • Serve as a resource to accounts payable, operators, supervisors, and managers regarding receiving issues.
  • Support other warehouse tasks as needed.

Job Description

As NFM’s Field Auditor you will conduct physical merchandise counts and audit exception reports to address errors. Perform spot audits on staff tagging to ensure accurate product receiving. Collaborate closely with departments like receiving, merchandising, accounts payable, NAS coordination, cycle auditing, and warehouse personnel. Responsibilities include documenting item discrepancies, capturing photos, entering audits into Traverse Vendor Compliance, checking in NFM shipments, processing add-on trailer books, and supporting other warehouse tasks as needed. Responsibilities

  • Be precise: audit merchandise that has been previously tagged by the receiving department and resolve discrepancies due to tagging errors.
  • Collaborate with Receiving, Machine Operations, Warehouse Supervisors, and Inventory Control Supervisor as needed to reconcile errors.
  • Serve as a resource to accounts payable, operators, supervisors, and managers regarding receiving issues.
  • Support other warehouse tasks as needed.
