Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. in Cedar Park, Texas is seeking a Field Auditor to perform physical merchandise counts and audit reports, coordinating with receiving, merchandising, and warehouse teams to ensure accuracy and reduce discrepancies.

The full-time role requires 3 years of warehouse receiving and 3 years of office experience, with the ability to lift and work night/weekend shifts. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, including same-day pay and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• 3 years of warehouse receiving experience.
• 3 years of office or administrative experience.
• Machine operation experience; or certification on a high-lift required within 30 days.
• Computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Applications required.
• Ability to create and maintain accuracy reports.
• Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Audit receiving transactions and reports to identify root causes and reduce errors.
• Unravel and tag merchandise without tags found in receiving bays.
• Audit merchandise previously tagged by receiving to resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Receiving, Machine Operations, Warehouse Supervisors and Inventory Control to reconcile errors.
• Provide a resource for accounts payable and supervisors regarding receiving issues.
