Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking a Field Assistant Superintendent to join an extraordinary project team in Austin. You will work with your project team to sequence work with subcontractors and vendors and help ensure successful, safe project execution.

You will interpret construction documents, manage a crew, develop daily reports, and support Lean construction practices while maintaining Beck safety policies and procedures. This role offers growth within Beck’s integrated delivery approach.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant construction experience.
• Internship with commercial construction company preferred but not required.
• Fundamental understanding of project documents.
• Experience using construction software (Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction documents, plans and specifications.
• Manage and motivate workforce while applying Beck Core Values.
• Assist with schedule development and adherence for respective scopes of work.
• Participate in a project’s layout and field engineering.
• Develop and maintain Daily Reports.
• Identify Lean Construction Practices/Principles and apply them on site.
