Job summary

Milestone-Technologie in Seattle is seeking a Physical Security Asset Management Coordinator to travel to sites, verify devices against the asset register, apply physical asset tags, and document serial numbers, models, locations and photos. You will be on site for openings, changes, and decommissionings, ensuring tag accuracy and timely updates.

You will own the data integrity of the asset register, support its move to a new asset management platform, and help build automated workflows

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in physical security systems, security integration, field technical work, or inventory or IT asset management.
• Working knowledge of physical security hardware such as cameras, card readers, door controllers, locks, request-to-exit devices, intercoms and power supplies, with ability to identify devices in the field.
• Comfortable reading floor plans, security drawings and equipment lists.
• Experience with asset or inventory practices, such as serial number tracking, reconciliation and chain of custody.
• Strong spreadsheet skills in Google Sheets or Excel, with a high bar for data accuracy.
• Self-directed on site: manage your own schedule across multiple locations while following procedures.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technicians, vendors, building staff and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Audit installed devices against the asset register on company sites and apply physical asset tags.
• Validate device data on site (serial number, model, location and photos) and update the register the same day.
• Report any mismatch within 24 hours and follow it until resolved.
• Support new office builds: check installed hardware against BOM and security drawings and ensure tagging before FDOBs.
• Verify moves, adds, changes and repairs in the field and remotely; keep the register updated within 48 hours.
• Support decommissioning: confirm devices are removed, remove labels, record outcomes, and collect destruction certificates.
• Coordinate with third-party storage facilities; reconcile stock and flag shortages and data gaps.
• Own the accuracy of the asset register and assist migration to the new asset management platform.
• Help build automated workflows, including AI-assisted data capture, to track assets through their lifecycle.
