Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in archaeology or anthropology with field work.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in adverse conditions.
• Self-starter with an attitude for teamwork and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage archaeological surveys including shovel testing and site documentation.
• Supervise archaeological field technicians and crew chiefs.
• Contribute to production of reports meeting regulatory standards.

Skills

Experience identifying and recording pre‑contact and historic resources

Excellent writing and communication skills

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work under varied weather conditions

Ability to effectively work in minimally supervised environments

Education

Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Architectural History or related field

Master’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field
