Job summary

Vision Government Solutions is seeking Virginia-based Field Appraisers to join our reassessment team. Field Appraisers inspect, verify, and record the property's physical description as part of reassessment services for local governments across the U.S.

This full-time position offers long-term career growth. The role involves traveling on the road through the King William, VA area, with no relocation required and a focus on professional public interaction.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch and kneel during inspections.
• Ability to climb stairs and carry 5–10 lbs of equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons/weather.
• Effective verbal communication with the public.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Real estate appraisal experience is a plus, but not required.
• Census, mail carrier or delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately verify, gather, and record the physical description of real estate properties.
• Submit regular reports to track progress against assigned work.
• Serve as public-facing representative of the reassessment, maintaining professional communication and appearance.
