Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our Fort Collins, CO office. You will support field operations, conduct demonstrations, testing, and customer trainings, and help with system integrations and on-site support for a diverse set of clients including government and commercial users.

You will travel up to 50% to test locations and customer sites, create engineering documentation, assist sales with technical designs, and develop expertise across the Wave Relay suite

Qualifications

• CompTia Net+ and Security+ certifications.
• Knowledge of radio frequencies (RFs) and wireless communications.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Must have a United States security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Travel to test locations and customer sites to support testing, evaluation, and deployment of Wave Relay system.
• Support project execution in deployment and support phases as technical specialist.
• Conduct development testing on Wave Relay products.
• Create diagrams and documentation for engineering solutions and customer requirements.
• Develop technical expertise of the Wave Relay suite of products.
• Assist sales with technical analysis and solution design during business development.
