Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to balance technical leadership with strong customer engagement. You will build deep technical relationships at key accounts, advise on software/hardware architectures, and coordinate with account teams to drive technical strategy in the Seattle region.

Applicants should have a BS in STEM, 5 years in Test and Measurement, 3 years of programming, and experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, and C++.

Qualifications

• BS degree in STEM required.
• 5 years of Test and Measurement industry experience.
• 3 years of software programming experience.
• Willingness to travel regionally and to Austin, TX up to 25%.
• U.S. Persons only may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build key technical relationships at top accounts and demonstrate technical credibility.
• Understand and assist in creating customer technical requirements.
• Recommend software/hardware architectures and guide test system development.
• Lead account technical strategy with NI Account Managers.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute account technical initiatives.
• Leverage industry knowledge to identify and create technical demand for NI products.
